Last weekend was the first time in ions when the weather cooperated and actually acknowledged it was Spring! I was motivated to change up our small porch bistro table and our dining table at the cabin and decided to give red and yellow a try.
It was a great time to pick some daffodils last weekend! They were just starting to bloom and luckily I found some on our property that I didn’t even know we had!
The vase was wrapped in a white burlap type fabric and secured with ribbon and a plaid button. I have always liked the mix of polka dots and plaids and I think it turned out super cute. I had some leftover fabric from some curtains I had made for our rental that I thought complemented the look I was going for. I recently highlighted this vase in this post where I showcased some other easy ways to decorate inexpensive vases.
I found some adorable placemats at HomeGoods in the shape of a flower and scooped them up. I bought a mix of white and yellow.
I kept this table rustic and simple with just a touch of color. Sometimes less is more, don’t you think?
Have you gotten Spring fever yet?
