I was going to share some projects and tidbits about our weekend, but that will have to wait. Allow me to indulge myself and brag about our grandson Maddox, who just turned 3. Technically, he’s my step-grandson so we don’t share any genes and I can’t take any credit for his out-of-the park adorableness. He looks like his mom, my stepson’s wife, who is a beauty.
We took him to a park on Saturday with some friends and luckily some younger children were there. It takes a little while for him to warm up to people, even young children, but once he gets going he’s just a typical little boy who likes to run around and get dirty.
He’s not camera shy, which is a good thing because I wasn’t letting up! I must have taken nearly 50 pictures of him, and these are some of my favorites.
Looks like he’s getting ready to toss an imaginary football…
A thoughtful moment when he was checking out a little girl. It’s never too early to contemplate your ‘moves’.
Obviously he had a run in with some muddy water. The day before we had torrential rains and the grounds were soggy and being a boy, well, ’nuff said.
Time for a snack.
Don’t you just want to eat him up??
