Well, well, well! Here we are and it’s 2013 already! Doesn’t it seem that the more time that has passed, the quicker it goes?
How did 2012 treat you? For us, it was pretty good. Definitely some good times and not so good times, but that’s life, right? The main thing is we sold our house, which is the first step toward a better, more relaxed lifestyle.
As part of that process, I’ve been living with boxes pretty much everywhere, although we’ve made some progress in spite of both of us being sick with nasty colds. Ugh! So I’m just getting back into posting regularly and thought I would share some posts you might have missed along the way.
I started this blog back in April as a way to document my projects and happenings of our day to day life, but it’s turned into so much more than that, thanks to the many wonderful friends I’ve made along the way. The blogging community is truly a caring and generous one, and I’m so grateful for you, dear reader, for following along.
In reviewing which posts I wanted to include, I noticed that many of my favs were not projects or makeovers, or even necessarily posts that got many comments, but posts that told a story and gave a glimpse into who I am and what is important to me. If you haven’t already checked them out, I hope you take a few minutes to do so and let me know what you think. I love your comments and so appreciate the time you take to share your thoughts!
I have some big plans for 2013. For starters, we hope to have a deck installed at the cabin, maybe redo our screened in porch and improve how the kitchen functions with projects like a pantry makeover and pull out drawers in the cabinets.
May 2013 be all you hope and more!

Hi,Doreen! Let me congratulate you on the first of many years of blogging, and I want you to know how much I’ve really enjoyed learning more about you. From the good old ‘Boa’ days to now…and we’ve stayed in touch for how many years ??? 🙂
Good luck with your new living journey, and I hope you keep sharing life along the way. I’ve loved all your projects and makeovers, and maybe it will inspire me to move on with my life as well! Best of luck with getting settled in!

Sorry I am just now making my rounds. The holidays and my first week back at school has my routine so messed up! I hope all is well and things are settling down for you. I’ve missed visiting with you. I think I am getting back into my routine, and almost caught up. If I could just find the time to finish a post that would help!! LOL
Congrats on your blogging and I am so thankful we can share the journey together!! So happy to have found you in a huge sea of bloggers. 🙂
