Oh, Doreen, what a beautiful bride Sarissa was, and her Josh, a dashing groom! They make such a lovely couple and look so very happy on their special day! You, my dear mother-of-the-bride, are exquisite; what a pretty dress you picked out in the end, perfect! Now, being a serious addict of the poetic form, I so enjoyed the quotes you chose to highlight these magical moments. How grand the venue; love the photos of Sarissa at the floor to ceiling windows, and the dress hanging from the chandelier; ingenious! I’m sure a fabulous time was had by all and it will be a day to remember forever. Thank you so much for sharing your family’s joyous occasion!

Doreen, this wedding must have been fabulous! You all looked just stunning! The venue was gorgeous and every detail was carefully chosen. I can only imagine the wonderful memories you will all carry with you 🙂
And thanks for your message about my daughter’s bouquet. It was so nice of you to remember. The bouquet is coming along nicely. I’ll definitely be using your inspiration as I put the finishing touches on it and will share it on the blog after the wedding (December.)

I thought weddings like this only happened in fairy tales. Your daughter and husband look absolutely stunning, absolutely in love and ready to take on the world. What a beautiful post, thank you for sharing, and by the way, you could be her sister!!

Absolutely gorgeous photos! Love the quotes etc. Hard to pick a favorite but that one of her by the window looking out is just amazing! 🙂

At the risk of stating the obvious, these are simply AMAZING! You looked like a princess too.
How in the world are you gonna appropriately display these pictures in the house? Here’s what my wife and I did (the whole wall!), but these photos deserve something more extravagant-like covering the outside of St. Patrick’s Cathedral as an indication to everyone in Manhattan about how it’s done!!
Mercy! So beautiful.
Oh, here’s what my wife and I did: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/25718858/Wedding%20B%26W%20Living%20room.jpg

W-O-W!!! This was a GORGEOUS wedding!!! I mean….REALLY gorgeous!! Every detail was perfect! from that beautiful gown (I love the photo of it hanging from the chandelier!), to your daughter’s hairdo (so, so pretty), to the groom’s duds (that dude was lookin’ f-i-n-e!!!), to your gown (go on with your bad self, sexy Mama!), to the uniquely beautiful bouquet, the ceremony space, the food, the setting, the pretzel stand….just everything!!! The photo of the crab claws on the buffet was really slick!
I can only imagine how proud and happy you all must be! My other 2 favorite photos are of the groom’s face when he see’s Sarissa for the first time in her gown. Those moments are priceless!!! I think it really gives the couple a wonderful advantage to see one another “for the first time” prior to the actual ceremony. The marriage is about them as a couple, and it’s so sweet when they are able to share that very special moment together as a couple without the eyes of hundreds upon them. It allows them to truly FEEL their feelings and express them. The “first look” when the bride comes down the aisle is like the cherry on top or the bonus round!
Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos. I’m going to get off this computer now. We have a BIG storm rolling in with a vengeance and I need to shut this computer down! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog last evening and leaving such an incredibly nice note. AND for turning me onto this post! Take care!

Thank you so much Alicia! That was such a thoughtful comment, and I appreciate it so much, especially coming from someone like yourself who is by far a style diva extraordinaire!
It’s funny, I went back to your post to show a friend the table and my comment seems to be gone? Am I losing my mind? (Don’t answer that).
Thank you for the follow on bloglovin and I’m happily following back.
Hope the storm wasn’t too severe. I’ll send you some of our great weather. 🙂

Hi Doreen! Wow! Your daughter is stunning. Love her dress. And the couple looks so happy. I love a great wedding. The dress you are wearing reminds me of the gold one I picked out for the City wedding. It looks wonderful on you. I hope the day was as enjoyable as it was beautiful. Lots of great memories it seems were made for you to have for a lifetime. Congrats!
